My students just want access to books on their level they can read at school or at home. Students in my classroom love to read, but that is being troubled by not being able to find books on each individual reading level. This Leveled Reader Library for the classroom will give my students access to books they know they can read and will spark a further interest in learning more about reading. Students are asked to read at least 20 minutes a day to help them grow their reading skills, be able to comprehend and retell things they are reading. Imagine going to a library and struggle to find a book that you are not sure you can read or not because it most likely isn't on your level. I want my students too keep that love of reading, and not lose it because they can't find books to build confidence in reading. This library gives them access to that confidence and can be used to build further language arts skills. When you can read a book on your level, you have a upper hand in gaining comprehension skills, retell skills, and be able to use those skills to enhance your knowledge. Please help me give this confidence and skills to my students.
