The books I have chosen are specific in their material. A lot of my students are struggling readers and I've found that mystery books and non-fiction books such as I've selected are the ones they find the most interesting. I just want them to be able to really engage with a book they connect to and genuinely enjoy. The other materials I hope will make my classroom more comfortable and homey for those students that need a safe space to relax and "re-charge". It doesn't hurt to control phones either.

About my class
