This year has been very difficult. On top of student learning, the kids in my room are always hungry. I often buy granola bars and fruit snacks out of my own pocket. Sometimes our school will supply us with a Zip-loc bag of snacks every 4-5 weeks, but it is never enough. Kids come to my room knowing that I have snacks and I can never keep them filled.
I also usually spend my own money or my legislative supply funds on tissues, cleaning supplies, and pencils. This would greatly help me and my students to keep our classroom stocked and safe.
