The materials chosen in this project are specifically selected to help students catch up to their grade level in science and math. Students are in dire need of intervention to help them succeed. Thanks to all the at-home learning days and the suspension of in-person classes that started in 2020, students have missed out on Core Tier 1 instruction that has inhibited them from understanding basic fifth grade topics. My purpose with these Lego sets, math games, and STEM activities is to bring them back to where their knowledge is supposed to be in order to learn their grade level curriculum.

About my class
