This project will help me engage my students in learning 21st-century skills that they have lost due to COVID. They have many gaps that they need to fill in social-emotional learning, math, and literacy. Spike Essential curriculum engages students in a playful narrative that focuses on real-life problems that they encounter every day. In addition to learning computer science and design engineering concepts, students will also develop their literacy, math, and social-emotional skills as they turn concepts into reality. This will help my awesome learners turn into independent STEAM thinkers.
