I will be using the classroom sets of letters at the beginning of the year to teach and practice letters and sounds using an alphabet arch. Later in the year, we will learn to spell CVC words using these magnetic letters. If each child has a set of letters for themselves, I will be able to see which child needs more practice as they have to complete it on their own. I can teach full group using all of these different resources to keep the students engaged with hands on activities.
