My students are in a low-income Title I school. This means that they are often coming to school without the supplies or resources they need. I am often supplying my students with things like pencils, paper, food, etc. This can help my supply my students for their basic needs.
We also go through a lot of supplies throughout our lessons. My students use colored pencils often to color maps, diagrams, charts, etc. to help them better understand different historical movements or geography. To help keep our students engaged with curriculum we use supplies like colored pencils, glue, etc. for their interactive notebooks. The pencil boxes will allow my students to have easy access to their individual supplies to help save time on getting materials in class so we can focus on our learning. The individual whiteboards will also help my students with whole class review and practice.
I also have snacks listed because my students often are hungry and don't have extra food at home, or enough food. I try to provide food for my students to help them focus on their education rather than their stomach.
