Third grade is a year of growing. I want to give my students everything they can to help them succeed and grow. One way my third grade class is growing this year by using Chromebooks to enhance our lessons. We could really use a classroom set of headphones. For reading we are using a new, online program called Lexia, in addition to our language arts program. We are also using an online math program called I-Ready to supplement our math program. These are being used daily and with 30 students in the room, headphones are necessary. Students have been asked to supply their own headphones but they are often forgotten or broken. A class set of headphones would be so beneficial to our classroom!
My classroom theme is Mrs. Wittwer's Stellar Crew. I have a great class and want my students to know it! Disposable items that spotlight students in the classroom would be used to create data binders that showcase work. Sheet protectors and laminating sheets would help to preserve student work and testing data. All about me posters would be displayed as students are spotlighted.
Classroom manipulatives keep students attention by making learning hands-on. Mini clocks, dry erase boards/erasers, and name plates all help enhance the learning environment so students are successful.
Please help this Stellar Crew grow this year by helping to provide needed supplies to our classroom.
Thank you so much!
