Practice makes proficient. Reading, like other skills take practice to truly master. I would love to have a library in my classroom where students could take a book home to enjoy on their own time.
I hope that as students are able to spend time with a good book that is on their level, they will create wonderful memories that will serve them throughout their lives.
Confidence and enjoyment in reading come as students have increasing success. This lending library would give students more opportunities to have those little success than they could have in the classroom alone.
