Students were forced to sit in front of a screen during virtual learning for several hours a day and expected to learn. For students with disabilities, this created an immense challenge for learning. Now that we’re back in school, students continue to struggle sitting in one place for most of their day and through difficult classes These flexible seats will give students an opportunity to learn in an environment that allows for creativity and an increased ability to focus. Not only will this help students academically, but it will create a safe space in my classroom whenever they’re feeling overwhelmed or stressed out. That is almost equally important for me as a teacher.
