The donation to this project will help my students gain critically important language buildings skills needed to expand their vocabulary with the use of reading manipulatives and record talking buttons. They will gain foundational skills in mathematics with sorting and counting activities and resources provided as well as activities focused on numeral recognition. Lastly, this project would give my students games and activities that encourage phonemic and phonological awareness and letter and sound recognition. Through developing these skills at a early age we are setting my students up for success at the elementary level.
COVID has left many families in situations where they are unable to spend time at home engaging in critically important interactions with their children, teaching them the essential skills needed to be successful in school. The resources you provide will allow me to practice and teach my students the skills they are lacking in a fun and engaging way.
