My students will be able to take the engaging things we do in class and mimic it at home with friends and family members to prove that learning is cool. A lot of these items will assist my kids with learning because it will allow them to learn in a very engaging way! I have an awesome idea to spiral different topics that we've learned by using the items in my cart to create interactive stations! The students will be able to use the tent in a specific area in the classroom to partner read or if they are finished with work early they will be able to read there. The three tier cart can be used during guiding reading time so they are able to get what they need and there is an organized mobile area for it. The file sorter will act as a mailbox so we can create a system when students are absent to organize and collect missing work. Technology is at the forefront of education at our school so a class-set of headphones for the student will benefit them for independent work on their iPads. With Black history month upon us I wanted to add few books to our class library. When students are learning I notice that when we play games it really seals it in so the buzzers will be for group games about whatever topic we just wrapped up on.
We can have much more engaging lessons with these items and they can be used an incentives for them to have alone or partner reading.
