Students who are enrolled my Digital Curriculum classes are either behind in credits required for graduation or are trying to graduate early. Having students in this class allows them time during the school day to work on their Eastshore units/courses .
Supplies like headphones will replace old headphones that I currently have. Students use headphones in class to listen to videos and lectures. The books I have specified are books that students need to read and reference for English units/courses. Having access to calculators and art supplies will be one less thing students need to worry about bringing to class with them or purchasing themselves. And the candy is to recognize and reward students who complete each unit/course through Eastshore.
Providing these supplies will help students be prepared for their assignments and will be easily accessible within the classroom. Many of my students have personal obstacles in their life and having these supplies will benefit them greatly.
