Students love using scooters! Not only are they an exciting novelty to experience in P.E. class, they're great for building gross motor skills and engaging students in teamwork or individual enjoyment. The specific scooters I'm hoping for have interlocking capabilities and inline wheels with higher profile. These features would allow for more team building activities, better movement of the scooter, and more comfortability for the students. These scooters would be used by over 600 students - having a positive impact on their social, emotional, mental and physical wellbeing! Whether through individual, team, or class effort, students will have a blast participating in various activities! These activities range from scooter hockey, to relays, to free time! It's been said that a rising tide lifts all boats. From an elementary student's perspective, a "scooter ride" lifts all boats! Thank you for any time and help with this project. It makes a difference!
