With the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, I have seen more than double the amount of students in my office needing help with anxiety. Some come in with a full blown panic attack. Students are being affected socially and emotionally with all the stressors that come with junior high plus the pandemic!
With a tool like an iPad, students can use apps that can help them socially and emotionally! They will be able to use the iPad in my office, during intervention time, or I can meet them where they are in their time of crisis.
These tools will also help me to better collaborate with teachers and create presentations and lessons to better teach my students.
