These supplies will be used to nurture my reading classroom with the necessary materials to bridge the gaps from education lost from the pandemic. I have requested Reading games as well as supplies to create a reading station with a variety of activities to promote literacy. I will be implementing a remediation piece into my daily routine where the students will be separated in groups based off of their skill level where they will enhance reading skills that they will need moving forward in their educational development. There will be a corner of the classroom with organized games that the students will be using during their group times. These games will build skills such as reading comprehension, long and short vowels, and multi-syllable words. I have been doing this program for over a month and I have seen so much growth in their skills and their confidence. These supplies are crucial in order for me to achieve this goal. Whether it is alternate seating, supplies to create individualized games, or resources to help me teach, all of these materials will impact my classroom so much!
