The books will be read to get some ideas for the story they are going to write. The books also touch on social-emotional subjects that students may be able to relate to. There are a variety of genres for the students to explore.
Students will be empowered to share their stories with each other using headphones with microphones. They will record themselves on Canvas, classmates will listen to the stories, then they will take a survey that the storyteller created on Kahoot!
Students will be able to see and hear each other's stories, even if they need to work at home. This will allow the students to feel an emotional connection. They will be able to get to know each other's personalities while practicing their English skills.
