Our school has provided some wonderful apps to supplement the students learning in the areas of reading and math. These programs give students extra practice with the lessons taught in the classroom. To implement these programs, headphones are required in a group setting. Students are asked to purchase their own headphones. Many can not afford good quality headphones. The low quality headphones are easily broken and soon students are unable to access the apps in a whole group setting. Each student having quality headphones would enable them to make full use of the learning apps.
