Flashcards help the students to remember letters and sounds. We play games with flashcards too. Leveled libraries are wonderful to provide high-interest reading for students to become more proficient in reading. All material can be sent home so parents can be involved in seeing their student's progress. Parents enjoy seeing their children's excitement when reading new books and learning new skills. Students enjoy taking home a flashcard game to teach their families. ELL parents are able to play and pick up more reading skills from their children.
