Students struggle to stay caught up when missing school, and due to COVID-19, more students are absent than normal. I've requested new headphones for my students so they can watch the lesson videos posted online to catch up on missing content. I have a classroom set of Chromebooks that students can use before or after school to catch up on missing work. It is difficult for students to watch these videos without any headphones. I have also asked for basic school supplies to help students be prepared for the lesson each day. Students should not have to miss following along with a lesson because they lack a pencil or because they lost their homework due to not having a folder.
