Students will be using these supplies as they are working on assigned projects with real business partners. A student that has the resources they need to be successful will be a happier and better-adjusted student. I will have students in class that come from areas where the ability to purchase the office supplies I have requested will be difficult. The folders/markers/etc. will ensure all students have the same ability when it comes to putting together a professional presentation, despite their individual buying power.
As you can see from my list of items, it includes basic office supplies that we do not have available at our school site.
The students in this class are thrilled to be back in the classroom for face to face interaction and will be working as part of a team for this project. The ability to provide the supplies I have requested will help give them the confidence to complete a project in a manner they can be proud.
