The microphones and mixer will help the choirs be heard during concerts as well as open opportunities for students to perform in areas outside of the auditorium. It will also allow for easier recording and amplification of performances. Headphones will let students explore music individually without the chaos of dozens of songs being played at the same time. Choir music has deep roots in connecting students to each other. Each song has a message that students reflect on and connect to. They then share this message to others who, just listening, can also connect. Singing helps some students release emotions in ways that they don't have access to through any other outlet. This technology will help students improve and share their craft.
