Recess is an important time for kindergarteners to develop socially and emotionally. Play-ground equipment will help students learn to interact and share. Our classroom environment needs to be organized to facilitate teaching and learning. Having a place for everything is key to help kindergarteners learn structure and routine. Creating an environment that is clean calm and reduced noise will help my student be successful as they autonomy in the classroom. We would use these projects to help us learn, move and keep our classroom clean and organized.
Active minds and bodies require movement, play and organization. By supporting our project you are helping supply kindergarteners with materials to explore, create and discover, as well as supporting a welcoming environment to do so!
Our class loves learning and these materials would help us to continue to do so in an environment that is clean and organized. We love to exercise our minds and our bodies and often use movement in our learning. These supplies would help us meet the needs of our active imaginations and bodies. We would be better able to manage our time with the use of a large timer the entire class can see where ever they are working throughout the room as well as individual timers for smaller group work. Colored lights, shelves, and bins would help us keep our work organized so we can move swiftly from task to task without losing track of our materials. We have had many cold days that keep us inside for recess and being able to build and imagine with magnetic blocks and play-dough would help our imaginations as well as work on our hand-eye coordination. There are times we need help tuning out distractions and noise cancellation headphones would help us accomplish this.
