This project will help my students have a more hands on and artsy experience while here at school hence the glue and construction paper. When students are able to show their creative side more, students worry and stress less. My students will use some of these materials to create their own totem pole based on the book Touching Spirit Bear that we read. With this book and Maniac Magee, these books get the boys in my class to want to read.The students also go through a lot of markers for doing math on their desks. They also use a lot of glue sticks for our science and social studies units for the year.

About my class
