This project will help get paper books into student's hands. While our team fully appreciates the thousands of online book options, we also believe in the power that a tangible book has on a reading experience. Our students need more books to shop based on their reading levels and interests. The kinders will begin a unit that is based around the idea of finding "just right books for you", therefore, they will need kindergarten level books that they can read independently and love! Imagine a five year old, shopping in a library and feeling excitement to find a book that they can read by themselves. This is the experience we want to provide for our students. They will be able to find books, keep them in their personal book boxes and even choose some to take home to read with their families.

About my class
