Hi there! Majority of the items that you will see on my list are books! I chose these books because they reflect different people, places, and challenges. I think it is important to introduce students to literature that reflects the world around them. My goal was to provide them the opportunity to "get outside" of their own diverse community. These chosen literary pieces provide both a mirror and a window into the world of literature, literature that students can either see themselves in or be introduced to someone else's world.
