I am requesting books, phonics activities, word building and guided reading books. I know my students would benefit from a hands-on approach to learning phonics. They can touch, see, and say the letter sounds as they blend them together and make words. It would be wonderful to let my kids check out an appropriate book to take home and practice on distance learning days or over the weekend. I know it is important for kids to feel successful reading and I know that these books will help accomplish that. Hopefully that feeling will give them the boost they need to be able to read grade level material.

About my class
