Given opportunities to explore, create and discover through read-a-long books, my students will grow in language and literacy. The additional tools I have included will provide opportunities to wonder, discover and inquire in math and writing. The students in my class have been impacted by covid since they were 4 years old, leaving a gap in language arts, literacy and math. These tools can help bridge this gap and stretch their learning and growth. I believe the experiences a child has in the early years of education will build the foundation for what lies ahead. The items I have carefully chosen will bring experiences to our classroom that will help stretch and grow each child in language arts and math.
