The students will be engaged as they use paints, inks, and bright colors for screen printing and watercolor projects. As they work to create various artworks it will allow their minds time to process what they are learning in the classroom, the playground, and in their communities. Covid-19 has changed many things yet through art class they can still create with vivid colors, work with their hands, and collaborate with classmates. As they use the new paintbrushes to create works like neurographic art, they will learn to think of a problem and solve it through their artwork. The students are excited to work with their hands to share their view of the world with color, lines, textures, and shapes. They have many social-emotional moments as they share art supplies, talk about their artwork, and apply classroom knowledge with the art curriculum. It becomes a kaleidoscope of learning as they engage both sides of the brain using colors and classroom knowledge.
