My students are excited to be in the classroom! However, due to COVID-19 opportunities have been taken away from them. I have noticed a decrease in attention and focus. It is hard for them to sit in their traditional desks and chairs all day long. I want to provide flexible seating choices for my students so that they can learn in a way that is best for each of them! Flexible seating will provide my students with a more comfortable learning environment, engagement with their peers, and opportunities to chose within the classroom. I have selected various flexible seating options that will help my students focus but still give them a chance to move. For example, students can rock back and forth in a scoop chair or sit down on the ground with a lap desk. I want my students to feel more at home in the classroom!
