So many students are struggling to see math as more than an abstract concept. These manipulatives put math in their hands, on their desks (whether at school or at home), and make it come to life. Manipulatives make math real! I am hoping to help students see the reality of what they are learning, help them visualize the applications and see how it applies to their lives. Manipulatives help them get one step closer. They can see probability through cards and dice, factor using algebra tiles, see volume and surface area using the geometric representations, and so much more!
