My supplies support social emotional learning and various areas of the common core along with things to help my classroom function. The timer will help my students understand time and transition from centers. The organization charts will show my daily objective on my board and how they will meet these goals. Both journals (correcting and draw and write) will help students learn the writing process and become better writers. The sound phones will help students hear themselves read so that they can hear mistakes. The giant magnetic writing page will provide an easy way for me to model my writing. The see it grow plant lab will help students understand plants and their needs. The wobble chair will be an incentive that students can earn and use to keep engagement. The calming cuddle ball will provide a sensory option to students who may feel frustrated. The paint will provide classroom art work experiences that connect to the core. The puzzles will provide education with indoor recess and incentive earning. The lacing animals will be an addition to my sensory bucket and will help students with hand eye coordination. Lastly the building lego brick set will provide students with an introduction to STEM in building.
These students need many different supplies to stay engaged, match their needs, and to help them feel and be successful in the learning environment and confident outside the learning environment.
