My co-taught math class is in need of different options to meet student sensory needs. Over the past few years we have noticed our students need more supports to be successful in class. Students thrive off of movement and resources that can engage their senses. Many of our students need innovative ways to help them keep their focus and attention in order for them to be as successful as possible.
When students are able to channel their movement energy they can focus and learn better. We are in need of resources that help students meet sensory needs they have. Students have thrived off of the minimal seating options we have this year and we are looking to expand those options. Seating options that allow students choice and movement help to engage students in the learning process. The more we can help students beneficially channel their energy, the more they are able to learn in class.
