My students come to me hungry as I am at a title 1 school, so I ordered snacks to help them feel more full an be able to focus more on their learning. I want to take away anything I can that they should not need to worry about.
We are also implementing STEM in our learning, and I want to make it more exciting for them. I ordered many STEM materials to incorporate into our science and math throughout the year.
My students don't love to get on iPads as much right now, because they have to turn it down and they can hardly hear it. Having headphones for them will encourage them to do more LEXIA, Ready Math, and more. It will give them learning opportunities that they might have otherwise passed up.
