The training equipment will be used in the pharmacy technician training program. The equipment will be used to give students hands-on tools they need to be able to learn how to automate and streamline routine processes that pharmacies and clinics use regularly. We project that with this technology we will be able to bridge the gap for students who need more personalized instruction, by providing authentic and personalized hands-on training for learning by being able to measure out compound ingredients as part of a simulated lab experience. Students will be better prepared to take their national competency exams and perform more confidently in their required externships.
