Students will be able to create their own self portrait on their own canvas. The students will study about art, what it is, what do we think it is. They will will do this through the life and art of Frida Kahlo. They will reflect and write about their conclusions and at the end. I will use the Tibetan singing bowl for the meditation and mindfulness session we do in every class. This year I have implemented mindfulness and meditation in my classes, and I would like to add the reflection piece through journaling.

About my class
