My students would like to have enough thick, finger-knit yarn to knit themselves or someone they love comfort blanket throws. They would also like to dye their own tee-shirts, either with galaxy paint or with their own personal designs, to make a statement about who they are. Finally, They would love to have enough food supplies to plan for and throw themselves one last end-of-the-year party before they move on to high school.
These supplies will allow our club to stay open until the end of our school year in June. We are running short on supplies this year due to job losses in our area and funding being put to other uses.
