I teach 9th grade English and this is the first time that many students will be introduced to Shakespeare. I want to use these books, book shelf, and Teachers Pay Teachers website to get students comfortable with the language of Shakespeare. I will use these Shakespearean Star Wars novels to show them a familiar story in a new way. These books tell the stories in Shakespearean language and it will be the perfect way to get their feet wet in studying and understanding the language before we read Shakespeare. I hope to get enough copies to fill a bookshelf. I do not currently have enough books or a bookshelf for the students to have a safe space to read from a classroom library.
