As a new social worker, I am looking for new ideas to use across multiple age groups and different areas of social-emotional learning.
I will be able to use these new materials as I meet with each student in therapy and create something to meet the specific needs of each child and help them be successful.
The students I work with in therapy will benefit from these resources as we will choose a goal, such as emotional regulation. The student may struggle with anger, we will be able to talk about and work through ideas of anger, by using the resource of a game to process the anger they have in a fun and different way.
I will be using these materials to help each student especially process and deal with their emotions in light of COVID-19, which has affected each student differently and each family.
I appreciate this opportunity to make myself better and more versatile for my school, students, and family.
