I work with students of significant disabilities at a Junior High. They have been severely impacted by covid due to the limited opportunities for active engagement and personalized learning. The supplies that I am looking for will improve student learning by providing them with opportunities to engage with one another in a way that is active and developmentally appropriate. Some of these materials include resources that are specific to creating IEP goals and objective boxes that my staff and myself will use directly with students in their English, Math, and life skills classes. We will use the noise canceling earmuffs and fidget toys for sensory activities in the school setting for them to be inclusive in their general education setting. Some of my students since COVID have expressed the for snacks and water bottles so that they can focus on their academic tasks during the day. As well, because of online learning we have used our computers for more remote learning and the use of computer mouse and headphones will help to facilitate that learning. Crayons, pencils, markers, dry erase markers, binders and other supplies such as these will help for individualized use in their classes! Many of these items are basic needs or are geared towards making students feel more comfortable in the learning environment. Some of the resources Anything you can help with will be greatly appreciated by both me, my support staff, and my students!
