I would like purchase wobble chairs for my math 7 classroom. I strongly believe, and the research suggests, that by providing students with wobble chairs, student learning improves, especially for those students with disabilities, ADHD, or other issues regarding focus and attention. Wobble chairs will benefit students by improving posture, increasing focus, and allowing for an appropriate energy outlet. Wobble chairs are safe for intermediate age children as they have an anti-roll safety ring on the base that prevents tip-overs and falls. They also come with a life-time warranty. When students sit on wobble chairs, they are actively sitting. It is believed that active sitting encourages the body to remain in motion and since our bodies are designed to be in motion, it has been documented that such seating engages and stimulates core muscles which increases student attention and focus. In other words, the physical activity promoted through wobble chairs help increase student focus and ultimately learn better in the math classroom.
