Covid has created a lot of stress for everyone. Many of my students are feeling this stress amplified due to anxiety that already accompanies the diagnosis of Autism. Sometimes they need a place to escape it all for a few minutes and express themselves artistically. These materials will be used to set up an art station that students can step away from things and draw out their emotions. At times, they lack the words needed to explain what they are feeling, but through drawing they are better able to communicate their needs.

About my class
