My students are from a high-need community. They are in a bilingual Second Grade group in which they read and write mainly in Spanish so that they can use these skills to learn English.
They are enthusiastic, caring, resilient, and passionate about learning. They will have a bright future if they have a strong foundation. They just need opportunities to shine.
