This project will allow my students to enjoy their educational learning and have a creative, fun, educational learning space. At our school, we do not have playground equipment for students to use at recess. All of the equipment that is in this project allows them to be able to play multiple games in large or small groups. There are other items, like scissors, popsicles sticks, pipe cleaners, and counters that will aid in learning activities within the classroom. Speakers are included because I am in a portable and the PC I use doesn't have speakers, which makes it really difficult to teach. I have also included earbuds for my students. There are many programs that we use on the computer that require students to have headphones or earbuds to be able to hear the instructions or video. For example, UtahRise requires earbuds to hear the instructions and to have passages read to them. Essential oils have been proven to help with focus and attention problems, so I've included an Essential Oil diffuser to have in my room to help my students stay focused and calm. I'm so very grateful for this opportunity to purchase items for my students today and in the future.
