We have all felt the impact of the pandemic in our lives. Students feel this impact as well but sometimes they don't know a productive way to deal with the stress and sometimes depression and anxiety it has brought into our lives. Doing yoga is a great physical activity that also focuses on the mind and spirit. Not only does yoga help improve strength, balance and flexibility, it also helps with stress reduction, improved sleep and it promotes better self-care. As students work through a yoga practice, they can learn a healthy way to cope with the world around us.
