Parachutes can be used to teach skills such as cooperation, following directions, and motor skills. They are high interest and kids love them! For these resaons they can also be used for rewarding good behavior as well has academic success. Each year at the end of school, first grade celebrates their achievements with a park day where we are involved in activities that culminate our year. The parachute is used year round and then is a highlight to have at the final celebration. First graders will benefit from this item year round.
