My students are loving books! It is exciting to see their love of reading grow but it can be hard to give each student an independent and meaningful experience with limited staff support.
Having a Kindle Fire reader with a variety book choices and options for text to speech will make daily independent access to reading an obtainable goal in my classroom. Students who love to read are able to open doors to so many learning opportunities and adventures.
Students in special education do not always have access to outside activities and opportunities therefore their options for exploration are limited. Books can give them a taste of what they may like to explore!
