Third grade is an important year to become more independent, use more learning tools, and to learn lifetime organizational skills. I have noticed with home-online learning (due to COVID) students do not know how to keep their materials in such a way they can easily access them in the classroom. They are spending valuable time looking for items that are misplaced. These chair pockets will be helpful in providing students control over their space, regroup effectively, and respect their belongings. Being able to access materials easily would help with transition time and lengthen academic learning time.
