The books and toys I selected support our Author of the Month program, which has become a favorite feature in our library. This is a program that works in school and at home. When schools closed because of COVID-19, students were still able to enjoy the library through our website. They had access to the Author of the Month spotlight, book reviews and recommendations, along with a weekly joke to keep a smile on their faces. Quality literature and plush characters from their favorite stories keeps kids smiling when life gets hard.
