I chose these items specifically on my student's needs, such as fine motor skills, and what they gravitate towards. Play is children's work and all the items I chose will make play so enjoyable. The dramatic play items, such as the tools and food are great examples of that. I can imagine my students' big smiles as they explore the new toys.
I also chose these items hoping that they will incorporate working together in a way that sparks imagination and creativity! I love watching my students interact with each other in a positive way.
